Our transfer pricing department has been strengthened
We are very pleased that starting from June 2018, our team has been strengthened by Andrej Choma, an expert on transfer pricing. Before joining CARPATHIAN, Andrej worked for more than 5 years at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, where he was dealing with and forming the transfer pricing legislation and regulation. One of his tasks at the ministry was to represent the Slovak Republic at the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum and at the OECD Working Party on the Taxation of Multinational Enterprises. In CARPATHIAN, Andrej will mostly focus on transfer pricing, with our group having a relatively solid client base in this segment, despite our young history.
Our target group includes small to medium-sized clients, including a wide range from “single‑person companies” to fast growing IT companies with a global clientele. Andrej’s arrival thus demonstrates the ambition to provide our clients comprehensive business consulting services, which involve not only bookkeeping, tax optimization, but also legal services as well as the services relating to transfer pricing mentioned above. Our ambition is to provide our clients the means to exploit possible synergies with a positive impact not only on the quality of the services provided, which are thus obviously more adapted to the client, but also on the price.
We note that the emphasis on efficiency in business is as it has never been. Our goal is to make businesses more effective, not only by reducing their taxes or tax burden, but by enabling them to make use of a comprehensive advisory agenda under one roof as well. Providing accounting or tax services isolated from legal services triggers inefficiency in terms of time spent, quality of service and price.
